Good gracious has it really been that long.... Yes its was November of 2013 since I have had my boat in the water!!!!! With my oldest boy glockjr being involved in speach and debate (2nd place state finals) and a thing called DECA (think FFA for business management, for which he ranked 20th at nationals) then add my other 2 boys , me being sick then the wife then the kids then the weather then me and a very bad allergy season that had me 1 step away from pneumonia....... ARRRRGGG it was all conspiring against me !!!!!!

Finally my buddy Jeff and I got out yesterday and with the help of the other crappie reports on here and looking back at my logs from last year we at least had an idea of where to start.

We started shallow shooting docks in less than 15fow, while we did try a couple of bridges the majority of our fish came off of shallow docks

Letting the jig hit bottom and bouncing it a foot or so off of the bottom. The fish seemed to prefer the more natural BG minnows in blue ice or opening night with a touch of chartrues tail light. We did try some electric chicken and outlaw special but didn't do very well with those.

We wound up with 46 fish in the boat ,24 keepers with most 10-1\2 to 12" and 6 that were 12-1\2. 16 of them where 9-1\2 to 9-7\8 .

4 Dink's that didn't get measured 1 bass and 1 drum.

It was a great day on the water after being land locked for so long
