put in at grasshopper again this am around 6:30. picked up catfish1 at another ramp across the lake and headed north. we did stop on the way to the whites to see if we could pick a crappie or 2 from some off shore structure.

found the brush pile on the main humminbird tossed a marker buoy and jumped on the trolling motor ..... stupid bow humminbird wouldn't turn on emoBang ok ok thats why we have the buoy ........ wait didnt i throw that a lot closer to that red channel marker .... emoBang

yes i did ... the line never rolled off of the buoy emoBang emoBang emoBang ok do over .. find fish on main toss buoy ..... yep line rolls out bow mount still wont come on .. fished blind for a few and got frustrated with that .. got into the battery compartment and found a loose wire YEA i can see again emoParty while we did pick off 3 nice keepers we also had a share of bluegill and yellows so we packed that up and headed for the whites . same drill as the last 2 trips. the whites were plentiful and willing and so were the large mouth, yellows, hybrids

and what is this demon fish looking thing ?????? WALLEYE !!!! while the walleye were sporadic (we only caught 5 ) and small 12-13" well except for one ...... maybe.... you see it got real acrobatic as i tried to put it on the measuring board and did a back flip with a half gainer and

one bounced off of the side of the boat back in the water emoRedface we put close to 100 whites in the boat and if you counted all the yellow.hybrids,lm,drum, bluegill and walleye we probably boated around 150 fish. as that slowed down around 11:30 we went in search of crappie

and found 12 good keepers under shallow docks with one the catfish1 pulled out being 13-1/2" emoDance best 7 of the crappie went 6lbs 2oz not bad for only 2 hours of crappie fishing ... off the water by 2pm and feeling blessed again
