So i bit the bullet, i bought a fly rod my first trip was a very successful one. i got to the fishing spot above the weir damn where everyone walks there dogs i caught 1 keeper and one fingerling on a black wooly booger twra stock there not too long. the creek that runs in had a ton of fingerling trout just swimming about. they were so hungry they tried jumping out of the water after my fly.

if you want to hit the clinch nows a good time the water is perfect. good luck

Tva is in the process of filling up norris lake meaning that they dont run as much i will be able to give a little more info tomorrow as i have a evening trip planned

i have been to many rivers and the clinch is the only place i have ever seen a 24" inch trout just swimming around.

honestly, i have fished the clinch less that 10x however they say that in the late fall people have been known land 24+inch browns, 3 rivers angler fly shop is good local fly shop to give you the local 411 www.3riversangler.com. i cant comment on what they stock all seen is the fingerlings swimming around
