Ive got a old 14ft fiberglass tri hull 2 bunkers and 3 old rollers the barely turn down the middle. added guide/light posts on side to keep boat centered in the wind .. but still hard to load alone .. any one here have any experience converting or mods to trailer to make it easier to dive on ?

Thanx in advance

Get everything as low to the frame as you can...bunks,rollers .etc....when the boat is at rest on the trailer you DON`T want to be setting on the rollers.....could damage the keel. The lower the boat is to start with is the less deep you have to go to launch. The front roller really is the only one that comes into play if you back it in till the rear of the boat is floating up. Float it off and back on. ideally you want to use the winch to pull it up the last couple of feet (using the roller to lift the front) and that will usually line it up on the bunks when you pull out.....use the guides to align the rear to the bunks.
I can`t stand clamp on rollers and bunks so once I had it all adjusted I welded the stuff in place and threw away the u-bolts and junk.
I`m sure a Master Backyard Engineer such as yourself will figure it out with style. !!!!!!

All GREAT info Snuffy but the part about winching the last few feet is dangerous. Light boats is probably ok but you still run a chance of the winch strap hitting you. Winches are misunderstood...yes they are winches but they are not recommended to pull weight in from 2 feet or more. Boats should get atleast 6 inches when loaded properly and the trailers set up right.

NGR...I'd be happy to give you a tour of the plant if you want and show you a few trailers and the way we set them up. I've set trailers under ALL KINDS of styles and manufacturers. Just gimme a call...
