If you don't mind walking and putting in some time Franklin Stae Forest on SP Mountain has some quality deer. A lot of their land goes off the top and gets little pressre except during the first couple of weeks during gun season but bow season and the latter part of gun season it gets little pressure, Same goes for the state land on Carter mountain. Like a lot areas most of the land is being bought up by Land developers and they let their buddies lease it. I Remember the good ole days where I could park at Someones house and tear out, 4-wheelers and lack of respect for peoples property has ended that. There are some leases that come open from time to time just have to keep your ears open and ask around.
