Mast this year?

What are you guys seeing so far? My favorite white oak up at Yuchi had some pretty small acorns. Do you think the drought hurt them over the past month?</p>

I do. I have two large white oaks and a red oak that usually cover the back yard with acorns. I havent seen any yet and cant spot any up in the branches.

The only acorns I have seen have been small, but if that's all they have, they will eat em.

i have an acorn tree in the backyard that is covered in them. cant wait till they start to fall again so i can gather them up and re locate them.

HAHA....just be very careful, relocating them to a hunting area can bite you in the rear BIG TIME. </p>

Not if u put them under the same type oak. I own the farm right beside Yuchi and there is a great crop this year. Black oaks are already dropping.
