What is the max RPM's a Mercury 150 EFI should be turning?
And what water pressure readings should it be getting?

Thanks

Book says 5000 to 5600 RPM for 92-00 models. Right now with the cooler weather it will turn about 400 rpm's more.

On the water pressure, no LESS than 12 PSI at WOT. Also Mercury wants the impeller to be replaced every year on that engine to prevent cooling problems.

Thanks, I am turning about 5300-5400 all year and have better than that water pressure. So all is good. Have an appointment to get the pump changed next week anyway. And it is an 08' model if that changes anything.

Normal water pressure is 16-20 PSI.

If it is a 08 model, it will state the rpms on the tag on the transom bracket. This is where it bolts to the boat.
