The bass on Percy Priest have been great! We have been catching tons. A lot of the bass have been in the 1lb - 2lb range but every 10 or so you'll catch a good one. They have just about finished spawning and headed into their post spawn and summer patterns. We have been catching our fish shallow on rattle traps, small crankbaits and our deeper fish on carolina rigs. About three weeks ago we started night trip! Night fishing is just getting started with around 10 -15 bites a night on c-rig, rattle traps and spinnerbaits. Now is a great time to book a night trip!!
As for the crappie, they have left the shallow water and headed to brushpiles and points from 8ft - 24ft of water. Jigs, minnows and smaller spinners have been producing.
We now have trout guide for Middle TN tailwaters
(Caney Fork, Elk River, Duck River, Obley River)!!
