We had a beautiful day today with 35 showing up.

1 st place. Allen Ogle and Bobby. 14.346

2 nd place Edie Wilson. 13.18 lbs

3rd place. Robbie McGill/ Justin Sneed 12.31 lbs


Big fish. Tony Crouch/ Jason Hudson. 7.98 lbs.

Congrats to those in the money, thanks for putting it on Bob. Had a fun time and caught some decent bass, just not heavy enough. emoRolleyes Still wished you had had a big spot pot. emoTongue I do not think I have caught a spot bigger then the one I showed you. 3 and a half pound spot on the chick I don't think is all that common. At least for me it is not. emoThumbsup Jmax

First time ever fished this. Thanks for letting my son and I sign up at last minute. He had a 3 lb fish in the live well. He really wanted to weigh it. We got to the park 10 minutes early and he cast a silver buddy and on first cast a pretty good bass hit it and jumped about 20 ft from the boat threw the lure just as he pulled back on the rod and the silver buddy ended up in his calf with both trebles appeared to be buried. Thanks to the gentlemen who stopped and removed one treble while I ran to get the trailer. I was sure we were going to the ER but my son was then able to push down on the remaining treble and yank it out. So our story is my son caught one good bass and one bass caught my son. Fortunately the bass released him.

Sorry to hear about your son getting hooked, but at least it ended well. Glad you and your son could fish. At least he'll have a memory . Hope to see you at future Monday night dogfights.
