Memorial Day Chester Frost 5-29-2006

Decided to give it a try early. Took the wife out and put in about 6:30. Fished around the park until 8:00. She put 6 (white spinner bait) in the boat to my 2 (Spook)by then with three 15"+ around the 2lb. I changed to white chatterbait that I finally found lastnight at Wally World. Hooked three withen first ten cast that looked about 5 lbs each so they were probably in the 2-3lb range but couldnot get hookset and lost them on the jumps. Did not have a trailer hook on the boat.emoBang Then went over to Harrison Bay grabbed breakfast and went to the back of a shallow bay and fished for a couple more hours with few bites. Got boat out about 11:00 when the idiots were just putting in.

Speakeing of the chatterbaits you had much luck with em. i've got one but haven't caught anything on it yet. I haven't fished it that hard though either.
