Memorial Day Weekend - Low Country Crab Boil

This post was inspired by Foodsaver's showing off his new smoking skills on a butt... he made my mouth water.
Our new neighborhood has to be one of the best in Chattanooga... because the neighbors are the BEST! CFF's own David Lancaster turned out to be my new neighbor a few houses down. Yesterday, he and his wife Jennifer put on a spread whereby they hosted our weekly block party/BBQ. We all were given grocery lists and a time to show up. He has a Low Country Crab Boil down pat. He caught the shrimp on a recent trip to the coast for this dish. Thought I'd share some pics of the feast our neighborhood shared last night. If you want the recipe (it's WAY easy) PM DLancas or myself and we can get it to you. One of the easiest BBQ/outdoor cooking ideas I've seen to date. Hope you enjoy these pics as much as we did the feed David put on last night. THANKS DAVID!!!! A good time was had by all. Kids played volleyball, horseshoes, beanbag toss, golfball toss, trampaline, four wheelers, and a big bonfire with s'mores afterward.

It's Waterhaven on South Chickamauga Creek. Right off Amnicola/Hwy 153. It's a great neighborhood.... even if DHaun takes your seat on Memorial Day in DLancas' boat!!!!!!

Every weekend since I moved here.... 2 mos going... just a great group of people and some great kids.
