I used to always pick up Merc Premium Plus Oil at BPS for usually between $12.00 to $16.00 a gallon depending on how good the sale price was. I need some oil and noted that Sportsman Warehouse has it for around $21 a gallon on sale!!!!! Has the stuff went up that much? I expect some increase with the price of gas, but it seems like a lot. My question is for those of you who use premium plus ---- who has the best deal going on it. I understand some places may offer it in bulk with you bring your own jug.

I'm crying also. I use that stuff too and like you I try to find iot on sale at BPS. I have had to get what I need from Boater's World out off Gunbarrel Rd. It is way too high out there. I buy the 2 1/2 Gal size and it is about $47.00+. If I catch it on sale again I plan to stock up. I am down to no extra and about 2/3 a tank in my boat.

Gas $3.00 per gal, Oil $20.00+ per gal. Wow. And to think that I through back fish that cost $19.99 per pound. Now I can understand why fish costs so much in the stores.

Does anyone know where we should buy liquid "Jade" a little cheaper?

I saw some kind of merc oil at wallyworld the other day for about 20$...I don`t use it and didn`t look at it other than to just glance as I went by ....It didn`t really hit me till I realized that`s about the same price I pay for AMSOIL synthetic.....and it was 13$ a gallon when I started using it about 7-8 years ago....
21$ at premix rate is about 15$ for 34 gallon Tank......about $1.15 a mileemoBawl

I called the Nashville BPS this morning (Friday the 18th) and they quoted me a sale price of $14.88 / gal. for the Premium Plus oil. I don't know how long the sale will last. That isn't a bad price at all and in fact a bargain compared to others "sale" price of $21.99 so I guess a drive to Nashville is in my future. Just thought I'd let everyone know. I sure wish Sam's club or someone local would stock it at a reasonable price. I know that just to pick up oil the 4 hours of driving time and expense to get it doesn't pay out, but I'm sure that I can find some other stuff I don't really need, after all a man can't have too much fishing equipment --- just ask Davo!
