Merc XR2 problems

I have an 87 model merc xr2 150 , started noticing it wouldnt come out of the hole good when you started off first time but after that it was fine. Yesturday in the cba it started doing it everytime you started off. It was really bad if you had to idle out of a slough for more than a minute it wouldnt come out at all you would have to shut it off and start over and hit the gas and it would do ok . I read the thread on here about handymans xr4 sounds real familiar . This motor sat up for a while but has had stabile in it always motor runs great but i did notice about 200 300 drop in rpms on top but I thought that might be from warmer weather Ive noticed they dont turn as much in summmer as in winter. Any suggestions would be appreciated .

If it was mine I'd take it to a mechanic as it sounds like a serious problem.
Wrenchen could fix it for sure.
