I just bought a 2002 Bullet 21xd with a 2002 Mercury 225 EFI. It has some weird decals on it that I don't like very much and I wondering where the best place to get some decals would be and some suggestions on what you all would do.

Would you go with the stock 2002 decals or would you guys put something else on. And where are the best places to purchase them?

Thanks guys.

Also what prop set-ups do any of you 21xd owners run? It has a 25 pitch prop on it. I think I get get better speeds and RPMs if i run a different set-up. Just wondering what some of you guys are running.

I would use stock decals. using non-stock would draw the value of the craft down if you ever try to sell it. And when you explain why the decals are different from whats under the cal, it may create doubt. You can contact mercury, and order them.

adam's graphics across the street from nichols marine he can do anything you want. stock decals will run you around 4-5 hundred dollars for eveything if you get them from mercury

you would be best i think with a 26 or 27 txp. my fishing partner run a 27 on his 21xd and it has a 225 optimax on it fully loaded it will run 76 in the summer and 77-78 in the winter

SMACK...how close can he make these decals to look like the factory decals?? I need some too!!

Iguanagrafix.com is a great place to get decals for Merc. and Bullet stuff. They already have the patterns and can do any custom colors you want. If you have setup questions go to FastBass.com and join that website. It is free and that is were most of us Bullet guys hang out. There will be lots of people there that have owned you same set up and they will shoot you the straight facts. They can save you a ton of money on trying props and setups. Welcome to the Bullet Family.

It has the 2002 Mercury EFI Nitro Series decals on it. Motor probably was on a Nitro at one time. It has been checked out and the Smart Craft Mercury gauge says 221 hrs on motor. I just don't like those decals at all. I'm going to put the stock 2002 Mercury EFI decals on it. They are pricey but maybe I can find a good deal somewhere.

Still gonna have to mess with the set up. It hits rev limiter right now and the dang thing won't fall out of a tree! I agree a 26 would prolly be a lot better. I will mess around and run it some more this weekend.

Wyatt I'am rrunning a 27 Trophy on my 20' bullet you've rode in it it is a good all around prop Beautiful Boat Can't believe anyone would buy a red Bullet emoPoke

Some of the Mercury decals suck! Put what you like on it. A Mercury mechanic can put a computer on the engine and get a readout of the hours, max RPM and other information of the engine. Which really maters. JMO!

LOL thanks Rudy. I am super excited about fishing out of it. My dad borrowed a couple of props so we are going to try them out this weekend and see how she runs. If I have any questions, i'll be sure to call you first. Thanks for the compliments.
