mercury marine tempest plus 25p #48-825866,skinned up all three blades, 1 indentation about 1/16" depth1/4" wide,i would hate to hurt the lower end if this warrents repair or replacement?
If you dinged up a Tempest Plus prop bad, it was a hard hit as they are a very thick bladed prop. It sounds like you just nicked it with a 1/16" X 1/4" area damaged. Take it by Performance and let them look at it. They will let you know if it need repaired or not. JMO...
i had just put the trolling motor up,but by the time i got to the key i wasn't paying attention and the wind{blowing about 25 mph} had blown the boat next to some chunk rock ,i dumped into gear and twanked a rock and put 2 small scratches in the boat,stupid!!! i'll run it by there and let'm check it.thanks for the info
