I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 74 lb thrust trolling motor. It came off my 2005 stratos. It is in good mechanical order. I just had the bearing on the shaft changed about 4 months ago (this is the bearing that the motor pivots on). I think it cost me about $45 to get it changed. the guy that changed it said it is a typical wear problem on the minn kotas. it is cosmetically not perfect (maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10), but mechanically it is perfect. the only thing wrong with it is the sheathing on the cables has torn where it goes into the head of the trolling motor. this is torn on every minn kota i have ever been around. I just changed the motor because I went to a 36 volt trolling motor. I have a spare prop that goes with it. It is a 42" shaft with the variable speed control (meaning it can be adjusted to any speed, not just 5 speeds). I can show it to someone on friday or saturday if you want to see it in person. I would like to get somewhere around $285 or best offer. I think it lists for $750+ at bass pro shops.
