this past weekend glockjr and i set out for a quick trip to do some scouting for crappie . i grabbed the remote for the ipilot ,so i could watch the humminbird and run the TM from the drivers seat, only to find it had water in it !!! not full mind you but more than a little condensation and it would not turn on . a round of showers came through the day before but this thing is supposed to be completely water proof emoBang

got home and took it apart to dry out and change the battery ..... oddball button cell . i finally found one and found out it still didnt work .

i called minn kota on Wednesday .... in less than 5 minutes and fewer than 5 button pushes i was talking to a nice lady IN MINNESOTA, who spoke English as a FIRST language!!

i told her my problem , she said thats not supposed to happen its waterproof !! where do i send you another one . i gave her my info and with less than 10 minutes on the phone a new remote was on the way .... today (Saturday) i opened the mailbox and found a box with my new remote . i took it out and pushed the sync button on the TM and it was linked up and ready to go.

I have to agree I called Minn Kota a couple of weeks ago to get a replacement bulb for my directional indicator and they were great. Sent me the part right away it did cost too much but the service was great.
