I finally got to try out my new trolling motor Saturday. I was amazed how easy it was to make the transition from a foot control to the Copilot remote control. The wind was very strong on the river which normally would have made it a chore to control the boat, however with the autopilot you just set the course. The trolling motor automatically adjust direction to maintain course. If depth gets to shallow or deep, you can make adjustments with the small remote control which you can wear on your wrist like a watch or even attach to the rod you are using. You can stand, sit, or move around anywhere on the boat and still be in control. The motor comes with a foot control, but I never hooked it up. It was great having the front of my deck clear. A couple years ago I had to have a hip replaced and after a long day on the foot control trolling motor, my hip and back would be killing me. After fishing from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Saturday, neither my back or hip were sore.emoSmile emoSmile I think I have a KeeperemoUpsmile
