I've been preparing my Duck Boat and took the MinnKota Talon Shallow Water Anchors off my Bass Boat and installed them on the Duck Boat. Pretty amoed up about the potential for these as a way to position my duck boat where ever I need it and not having to rely on finding a tree to anchor too.

The MinnKota Talons make it easy to switch between boats since they are self contained electric units and all you have to do is hook up to a power supply.

Even if you don't hunt but have two boats or you and a buddy want to share an anchor. The MinnKota Talon makes it easy to switch between boats.

Think I saw your post on tnducks a week or so ago. They just need to come out with one in a grass camo pattern. Doug that should work fine in my opinion. We usually tie off or jam sticks in front of the boat to keep it in place, but doesnt work long. The line stretches and the sticks fall as soon the dog kicks off the boat. Those Talons are a little steep, may just wait for a cheaper one to come out. emoToast
