Question to the regulars that fish below the dam on Nickajack side - i have started fishing below the dam more this early season than before. earlier this year the minnow trail along the bank was so thick you could not drag anything through with out snagging some. that being said, the bite was excellent when it was so thick. i have noticed this past month it has really slacked off and the bite is not quite as good. Are there certain times throughout the year that the minnow trail returns or is it hit or miss?? the skip jack herring seem to really hit great when when the trail is there! any help would be greatly appreciated!!
