On my boat I have two Hummingbird 937c. Both are run through the main power switch on the console. The problem is when I go to start the motor it turns the units off. I thought it was time for a new battery but I have had it checked and it checked out good. Very frustrating to have to keep turning them back on. Any advice is greatly accepted.

There is either a loose ground wire somewhere or your cranking battery is low. They and lowrance have a safety built into them that shut them off when the volts drop below a certail level, good luck finding the prob and if ya need help gimme a holler and we will find it for you. Taylor

I think you have the leads reversed, check and make sure that the ground wire from the humminbird is connected to the ground and positive to positive my wires where reversed and it would do the same thing it would turn off ever time I cranked the engine

Thanks guys you gave me alot of good info and things to try. Will let you no what I find. I knew I could count on the forum members to give good info.
