WOW!! Yesterday was one of those days that the Big G "Good Uns" were eating consistently. With several patterns working from early morning topwater with Stutter Steps and Spooks, and then to some serious Bull Shad action! After the morning frenzy of quality fish we went out to some deeper grass areas with Choo Choo Jigs and picked up right where we left off with several more quality fish. When the 2nd trip started we went straight to using the Choo Choo Jigs along some of the deeper grass areas due to the hotter conditions, and even with no wind the fish were still doing some serious "eating"! With the phone being near "dead" we only took the one good, and I mean "GOOD" pic. With this true serious Big G HAWG, we decided that instead of pouring more sweat to call it an early evening. I also got out today with a morning trip to Nickajack Lake and with these guys using Choo Choo Jigs along some of the deeper grass areas they were able to put some solid numbers of quality fish in the boat. This was the first trip that I've had the opportunity to do on the "Jack" this year, and this lake can really surprise you and what kind of a productive trip it can show an angler. A fantastic couple of days on a couple of great lakes. Have some fun!!! Mike Carter
