The fish are making their "FALL" move and the bite has really turned on, especially when you compare it to the past couple of months. I had 3 gentlemen that wanted to catch a few Crappie on Weiss Lake yesterday and then go after a few "Big-G" Bass today, and we were able to accomplish both tasks. The Crappie bite on Weiss was a little slower than normal for this time of year, and with the water being so far down and limiting the areas we normaly fish we still were able to put a good mess of some quality Crappie in the boat for my clients to take back to Texas. The fishing on Guntersville was what I was expecting with the cooler temps that have finally arrived have made the fish more aggressive, and these guys had a blast swimming Choo Choo Jigs in some scattered grass. The pics I included are not of fish that we "rode around" in the boat all day for a multiple fish pic, but are of a couple of doubles that they were able to get. We covered a few more areas with the same kind of scattered grass and these guys were able to catch several more quality fish which made for a great day and a great experience for their first trip to the "Big-G". The fish have made their move and there will be several different patterns that can produce some great action for this time of year. Get out and have fun. Mike Carter
