Last week was an extreme busy week of fishing. I had several days that I did 2 trips that would start at daylight and end at dark, so instead of making reports I valued the time to walk in the house, eat a bite of dinner, take a shower, then head straight for bed. The Bass fishing however was very up-n-down with some trips getting a few quality fish to hit, and the other trips having the opportunity to get a lot of good numbers of quality fish. The fish have really moved out to the deeper areas along deep grass lines and river edges. Swimming Choo Choo Lures jigs, and Producer Swimbaits with 1/2-3/4 oz. heads, and also 3/8-1/2 oz. Scroungers have been the main ticket to get a few fish to hit in these areas. Get out and just "plain ole" have some fun!! Mike Carter
