The Bass on Lake Guntersville were "eating" this morning. I had a short morning trip with a Gentleman from Indiana and got out with a later than normal start, but it didn't seem to matter to the fish. We pulled up on some deep grass with Choo Choo rocker jigs with Producer Craw trailers, and the fun started with some solid fish off the bat. The bite was consistent with this pattern through the morning, even with the wind gusting from the storms that were moving in. The floating Eel grass is an absolute "PAIN" to deal with right now. It seems to be all over the main lake right now and can make fishing a lot of areas extremely difficult. "Oh Well", it's here to stay and we just got to keep fishing and deal with it the best way possible. Have some fun!!! Mike Carter
