I always get great info when I come on the site and thank yall for it, unfortunately our club struggled bad up there but I will give report anyways (atleast you may know what NOT to do haha) First place was only 13# and the only guy with a limit, he caught them shallow on lipped and lipless cranks. 2nd only had 2 fish for 9# but had a 5# smallie, both on TN-rig. Coanglers winner had one fish for 8.68 on jerk bait, I took second on coangler side, 2 fish for 7.6# caught a 2.5# on shakey head on a transition area right where a bluff wall started to change to a flat bank, then caught a 5# on a jerkbait on a rocky point. I think most of our guys realized a little too late how shallow the fish really were, and also alot of our guys dont like crowds so they didnt fish any of the most popular areas to avoid the other anglers. Anyways hope it helps im trying to give back.
