Guys, I was talking to Firstlight today and they have told me they are actively working on a solution for a mobile app. There is no current app that they know of that runs the platform CFF runs on currently, so it may end up having a different look to the forum, but one that is supported with mobile.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

One very possible platform is vBulletin. MANY forums run on that platform.

Sounds great! Doesn't matter if it has the same look or format as long as it makes it easier to use the forum on our dumb smart phones lol

My Casio Commander runs the page pretty well in my browser. But I would love to see a new format or an App that would make it easier

RE: Working on a Mobile version of CFF with Firstlight.

Sorry, I don't know much about platforms. But I have LONG wanted a Mobile version. I view regular version on my iPhone, but it's a pain.

Glad to hear a mobile version is in the works, even if it means changes for regular version.

I'd be happy to just have the ability to turn off ads while viewing from mobile... emoAngel

What is the status of the mobile version?

Re: Working on a Mobile version of CFF with Firstlight.

We're not sure Jason. The forums may have changed hands or at least a new guy in Canada is running it now. I guess this just happened last week....??

He does want to see a mobile version though so hopefully we'll get one soon!

Still working on it is the last word, and hes been keeping us up to date, (we have not been hounding him) so I know its a top priority.
