MOnday Dogfight Classic- Chesterfrost Park October 22, 2016

Our classic will be held this coming Saturday-Oct.22nd. We will go from safe light to 1:00. You needed to fish at least one regular tournament to qualify. We will do double entry fee or $30 dollars per man. We will pay the top 5 finishers plus $300.00 for big fish. According to the weather forecast I heard this morning it looks like Saturday will be a cold one, at least early so dress accordingly.

I will be at the weigh-in shack at about 6:00 AM. I anticipate the blast-off will be about 7:15 depending on cloud cover. Hope to have a good turnout .

The team of Steven Hall and myself won. Since Gary Hughes was the only other boat our fish was bigger than his. We clubbed him by a good 10 ounces.

You nailed it on the head about being cold in the morning. Looks like it will be somewhere around 42 to 44 at blast off in the morning. Wind chill sitting in a boat going 60 mph will be a little chilly. Jmax

Congrats to Tim Harrison and Bundy on spanking everyone's butt! emoWorthy Those two put it on us today....again. While everyone else was struggling to get five keepers Tim and Bundy were culling. They easily won with 15.91 lbs. It was a tough tournament for most. The cold front shot the top water and frog fish almost off. There were a couple here and there but not that many. emoRolleyes Jmax
