Well, Its that time of year again. The water is at full pool. The nights are getting longer. And I've been getting asked when are you going to start the Monday Night B&B Marina Tournaments again. So... Here we go... Who all wants to fish it? When do you want to start as far as date? Same format as last year? Monday night at B&B Marina 6:00 to 9:00pm. 3 fish limit. 15" on Green bass. (No 12" spots) 18" on Brown bass. $20.00 per boat (2 person per boat limit) $5.00 optional big fish entries. Shotgun start (Leave any time you want to from the B&B ramp after 6:00pm. i.e. You don't have to blast off if you don't wanna ride in the rough stuff) But you do have to be in on time 9:00 or it'll be assumed you didn't have any fish to weigh and forfieted your right to weigh them in.

I still don't have a nice set of official scales to weigh-in these fish with as it was just an impromptu gathering of friends last year. I would be grateful for all the help I can get.

No one assumes any specific responsibility for this tournament as it is not sanctioned by any group or affiliated with any specific place or person. No one owns this and it will be run by who gets there first. LOL. Fish at your own risk based on the honor system. (But if you get caught cheatin you'll probably get beat up by an angry mob of dip-spittin rednecks. So you weigh the risk) LOL.

We had a lot of fun last year and I hope we can do it again this year. Ya'll let me know what you want to do. This is a true democracy style tournament governed, run, and cared for by the people that choose to fish it. Ya'll tell me... and if you want more money... tell more people to come fish it. we'll divide up the money as the people fishing it see fit based on turn out but, there will be %100 percent payback. nobody makes any money off this except the winners.

Weights and results will be posted on this forum as best as I can remember them and I'll try to write it down like I did last year.

Just show up early and pay, had alot of fun fishing with them some last year and look forward to same this year. Great bunch of people here no doubt, so you all next monday

Whats wrong with my old notepad and pencil method... I mean besides misspelling everybodies' name and forgetting who won what? LOL Yup next Monday the 11th will be the inaugural B&B marina dogfight for 2009 and we'll just do em until it starts getting dark and cold and just like last year. By then its time to deer hunt anyways so nobody would be there anyways.

Oh FYI for any newbies. Standard bass tournament rules apply. No live bait. No sharing fish with other competitors. No tying em up in a basket somewhere. Be careful leaving the ramp/"blasting off". etc. Use common sense. If there's a question ask somebody and get a majority opinion and thats what'll stand. I Look forward to standing in the parking lot swapping stories with which ever one of you jokers just took my money. :) C-Ya Monday.

I really like fishing this tournament. It has a very friendly atmosphere, slower pace and is a "come as you are" tournament. This end of the Chick has less boats, less wave runners, and the wind doesn't even blow as hard because of the barrier ridges. You will rarely see a big yacht or barge.

What you will see: Shore birds, Deer, Geese, Ducks, an occasional bikini and lots of fish.

Come to my end of the lake!
