Monday Night Dogfight Results 8/15/2016

We had 10 boats tonight and judging by the weights and bags weighed in it was a tough night for all.
6:30 to 9:30 3 fish


1st place. Pitts and Barnes 9.89 lbs. big fish 5.77 lbs

2 new place. Jmax and Derrick. 8.17 lbs.

3rd place. Bundy and Harrison. 7.95 lbs. first out of the money. That was it for all the bags weighted in.

Hope the fish get hungry soon.

We could not have asked for better weather. Started off a little windy but that died down quickly. Then it just got nice. Breeze kept it cooled down and the water looked great. Really a beautiful evening to be on the water. It was tough for us last night also, the big bass deep shut down on us and we had to go to grass edges drowning a shakey and jig to cull the little ones we had. Not a bad catching evening considering the weigh in looked as it did. We boated eight keepers and several other shorts but never caught any kind of size. We were glad to get our money back on the entry and gas. Any time you can fish for free is a good trip. emoTongue
