billyc - 3/23/2010 8:55 PM The fee we charge is less than the one on Thursday night and nobody seems to mind that one. All fees go toward the classic at the end,and when you pay one time you are qualified to fish the classic at the end of the season, no matter how many you fished through the season. I adopted this concept after seeing how the classic on Thursday night out of Harrison Bay drew a massive crowd even though it was a night tournament in the middle of fall on a work night, (just ripping you a little bit Steve, you guys run an awesome tournament) Thursday night classic was fishing for close to a thousand dollars for first place and a solid payout through about seven or eight places. To me this was a better concept than deducting so much out of every week to put away for the classic. I know that some people don't like the fee because they think that I may keep some of the money. I can assure you I don't keep a penny and to my knowledge those who ran it before me didn't either it all gets played out in the classic at the end. If people don't like the fee they are more than welcome to fish other dogfights , there is one just about every night somewhere around here.
