MOnday Night Dogfights

I am not going to be able to run the Monday night Dogfights as I no longer live in Chattanooga. I am going to miss the friendships I have made . I now live in the Roanoke, Va. area and I am not that far away from Smith Mountain Lake. I'll see what kind of damage I can do there.

I talked to Gary Hughes and I know he is looking for someone to run them. It is a great way to meet people.

Yes. The B&B Tournaments are held up on the upper lake on Hiwassee in Charleston. The tournament Bobant is referring to is on the lower end of the lake at Harrison bay.

The Monday Night Dogfights actually go out of Chester Frost Park, not Harrison Bay, however, there is a Thursday night Dogfight out of Harrison Bay.

Beat me to it. emoAngel Out of Chester every Monday evening. Bob did a great job for a good while running these and a lot of times he was a one man show with Gary showing up to help him out some. emoThumbsup Even when Bob did not fish them he often showed up to take up the money, saw everyone off, went home, came back and weighed in the fish. emoWorthy We will miss you Bob! emoBawl Jmax

Smith Mountain is a poor lake from what you are use to. During the summer months you will get run over by pleasure boats, water skiers and jet skies. If you thought the Chick was bad wait until you see that lake in the summer. emoHoppingmad Best time to go is at night or first thing in the morning and on the mornings get off the lake by 11:00. Bob, it may be a little bit of a drive but your better off driving over to Buggs Island on Kerr Lake. Lots better lake and good bass fishing. emoThumbsup Jmax
