Bart Withrow's team had 3 fish that went 10.23 and they claimed the $120 for first. Congratulations to them. We had only 6 boats but a few people called to say they were planning to come but could not make it. So... next week we plan to have more boats. We will pay more places the more people we have. We all had a good time and it was nice to have such a big ramp all to ourselves. Thanks to Brian Bramlett for bringing his scales and performing the actual weighing in. We all appreciate you Brian. Look forward to next Monday 6/16/08. Hope to see you all there.

Not a bad turnout for our second time. It sure was nice to pull up to the ramp and see someone already there who is responsible for the tournament and not a closed ramp with nobody in sight. Thanks FishingBen

People have asked to include an optional "Big Bass Pot". Cool with me. There will now be an optional $5 "Big Bass Pot" that will be paid out separate from the combined weight monies. It will be at the discretion of the competitors to jump in on this if they want to but...the monies for Big Bass Pot MUST be paid up front. You can't retroactively jump in after you catch a 7 pounder at the ramp weigh-in. That would not be fair. So If you think you may catch the big-un, pay up front.
Also livewell check will be performed at the ramp before take off.
One more thing. this is only a 3 hour tournament but, its hot out there now. Have some Ice to throw in your livewell. We want to return these fish to the water healthy and lively so they can grow and give us and others joy many times over.
Boys...Wear Your Life Jackets. You've got families to care for that need you to stay alive. Take the extra 10 seconds to clip your kill switch to your jacket and put it on.
