Hello everybody, Haven't posted in awhile because I haven't been out latley. Been workin 6 days a week and the heat is killin me! Anyway, I have been living in Chattanooga for 6 months now and been a member of this incredible site about as long. I have done my share of fishing when I am able and with the advice I have gotten from this site I have been able to catch some nice fish. The thing is, I have yet to really meet any of the great people on here. I have ran in to Liveliner a time or two (nice fellow!) and that's pretty much it. I would really like to meet and fish with some of you fine folks - everyone sounds like great people - but unfortunatley I will be in Atlanta for the picnic on Saturday.emoBang I also do not own a boat, which it seems most all of you do, and that makes it kinda hard too. I also really haven't met too many people outside of work and it would be nice to have someone to fish and chat with. I have never fished the chick or the river from a boat and seeing some of these pics ya'll have posted of these monster catfish looks like such a blast! I am not going to be workin this coming Monday(20th) or Tuesday(21st) and just thought I'd see if anyone wanted a little company. I would be glad to help out with gas, bait, snacks, whatever. If not, that's OK too. If anyone wants to show an ol Nebraska boy how to really get slimed, shoot me a PM. If not, hope everyone has a great time at the picnic! Wish I could be there to meet everyone...Have a great weekend and I'll be sure to post em if I catch em! emoSmile

I have an old friend coming down sometime next week, but if I'm available on Monday or Tuesday, I'd love to take you out! PM me Sunday evening and I should know by then. No guarantees on big fish, but at least one of us will have fun (me!)emoSmile

Wow Eric, thanks for the great offer! I would love to meet ya and catch some fish with ya! From what I've seen - you're the man when it comes to catfishing!I don't care if they weigh 2lbs. or 50lbs. I just really enjoy the experience emoSmile I will definatley get in touch with you on Sunday eve. Have a great weekend and I'll talk to ya soon.

Cat you just got hooked up with one of the forum's GREATEST catfisherman. :) Now ... if you want to meet and greet the masses of CFF COME TO THE PICNIC Saturday (tomorrow).

TT

One thing I have picked up is you dont HAVE to own a boat to catch fish around here. It makes some spots un-touchable, but there are places available.

TT...I would love to come out to the picnic, but I promised my Mom I would go to Atlanta shopping with her. She gets a little intimidated by driving around there and being the good son I am - I told her I would navigate/driveemoLaugh Hope ya'll have a great time and I look forward to meeting and fishing with more of you in the future! Also lookin forward to postin a great report if Eric and I go on Monday - that would be awesome! Spurhunter - Any reccomendations? I've had luck at HBSP, Chester Frost, below the dam, and the public access area at Raccoon Mtn. Always open for some new suggestions! Take care and enjoy the picnic!
