Alright guys, I propose to allow locking thru during our Classic this year. Since we will be doing a full day tourny and 5 fish limit, it seems fit to me to open it up a little more for this one tourny of the year. This way it will accommodate to all of those who would rather fish the Nick as well as those who want to stay on Chick.

Yay or nay?

10 hour day and locking through. I LIKE IT!
They can say what they want about Chick in Sept, Oct. I seen what this lake produced in those months with the grass growing like crazy. Its coming on!

Well, here is the reason Chris is lobbying his opinion. I do think it is actually warranted. What do y'all think?

Hey, hope you guys understand Im not trying to be a dick about any of you all tournaments. Im trying to give other points of view. On that locking through thing in the classic, how is that fair? I own a boat that in no way shape or form could make it to the lower end of nickajack, but because of that I have to be penilized???? Think about that. Chickamauga fishes extremly tough in the fall months( that is a fact), yea you can catch lots of fish, but most don't keep. Now Nickajack is the opposite it fishes great , you know that. But you all decided on the tournamnet to be on Chick. I'm all for it, but if you allow locking through me and every other team that doesn't have the equipment to run that far are more or less screwed. That's the point . I wan't to enjoy you alls tournaments, but I'm not going to waiste my money ( which I have extremly little of) , if I know I have absolutely zero chance. Like I said , not trying to be an ass, just want to make sure you understand, I'm not arguing for no reason.

I agree with Chris... If we are allowing people to lock through we should have had it on Nickajack. That way everyone could fish Nick, Chick, or Gville.

Well, my 2 cents worth wont add up to crap but he finds something to bitch about each year on the CFF tournaments...When he did his trail "Family Traditions", it bombed.

Chick last year showed a ton of grass growth...finding it wasn't too hard but not all that easy either. You have to scout. With the wet conditions we've had this year, Id say grass will be plentiful! But think about it....who in the hell is going to pay double entry, gas that beast, oil that thing and run to nickajack cement? River park and maybe some areas below that...yeah, I can see that.

If you guys dont want to lock through, heck,Im good with that too. I have no plans to do that. I just thought the questions gets asked every year that we might want to do it for a 10 hour classic. Im good staying on chick myself. But again, Chris, nice guy...but ******* about the CFF stuff all too often.

The committie voted on the lake and locking through has never been allowed in any other CFF tx. It may give an advantage to those with more cash and better rigs.
My vote here is against locking and keep it on the lake that won the votes.
The lake was voted on- why wasn't locking through?

Probably because I bought it up as a thought..mix it up a bit but I'm good with keeping it on Chick. I wont lock through anyways. :)

Ron....please refer to the original post of this thread. That is exactly what we are doing here. Voting on locking thru. emoPoke

Well, it looks like the vote is about split down the middle. In that case, we will leave it as is for the Classic and we will NOT allow locking through. I am totally fine with that as I wouldnt have locked through anyway. Any objections that need to be heard?

Nice, maybe I just scan this forum and don't study it enough. I didn't beg to become a committee member.

Aw come on Ron, lighten up man. It was just a joke. No harm was meant by it. Sorry if you really dislike being on the committee that much. If that is the case no one is making you do it bud. We just thought you would enjoy it and thought you would serve it well, so that's why we extended an invitation to you. Nobody was trying to piss you off man.
