Just wanted to take a minute and thank James for all the work that he did for me. I took my Javeline to James back in April with an idle problem. The 150 Evinrude would spit and sputter while at idle speed and eventually die. It ran well at top speed and on plane.

James began diagnosing the problem and soon discovered an electrical problem and had to replace the starter and plug wires. While he was at it he removed one of the carbs and gave it a good cleaning. I met him at the lake and we tested the boat and noticed a definate improvement, but it still sputtered and spit and eventually died. But an improvement was made. So the next step was remove the other 5 carbs and clen them out good. We found the idle passages were cloged on about every carb. James being the great guy he is, had the gaskets that fit my carbs and did not charge me for them. Saved me about $27 per carb. We went back to the lake and again made a noticable improvement, but still died when at idle speed.

The following week James called and wanted me to meet him at the lake and said he had a used power pack and wanted to try that. He put his pack on my boat and basically it fixed the problem. Still an occassional miss but nothing major, and it would keep running without stalling out. James let me keep his used pack on the boat for about 10 days. He wanted me test it several times just to make sure that was the problem.

10 days later I called James and he ordered me a power pack and installed it at almost just the cost of the power pack. Boat runs good now.

Anyone with engine issues do yourself a favor and give James a call. He takes the time to answer all your questions and expalins in laymen terms what he is doing. His rates are unbeatable and he is an honest guy.

Thanks James
