Morel Magic "very pic heavy"

Not sure if this is the best place for this but here goes...

Heard about the elusive Morel Mushrooms last year and after reading a ton of info I went out looking,, no luck,, So this season when the time was right "now" started back up again...

Me and My best hunting partner " Dixie Girl" Logged in several miles of some of the most scenic river bottom,, ,,Walking with my head down I finally stumbled on a small patch,,, Fried them up with fresh crappie for dinner lasts night ,,, Man good stuff,,,

crazy. I just read about them on another site. How does that really taste, and what is the texture like. Better than a good ole canned mushroom on a frozen pizza?

Prity darn good buddy,,
I did over batter them due to the rough surface but I wont make that mistake next time...

Love them morels! I skip the batter and just saute them in butter.
