Motel/Hotel Accomodations in the Hixon Area

I'll be travelling to Hixon on Saturday to attend a family funeral service over the weekend. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive motel/hotel to stay at in the Hixon area? One that will be clean and safe for my better 1/2? We plan to stay through the middle of next week and leave for home next Thursday.

Recommendations will be appreciated deeply. Thank you.

anything on Hixson Pike near Northgate mall should be safe and reasonable priced

I think the Holiday Inn Express on Hixson pike near Northgate is your best bet. As a backup the hampton inn on Hamill road might be ok. The first is newer.
