Mr Wiskers & MB on the river 9-4

Mr Wiskers & I met up at the riverpark at 4:00 and only managed to get in a liitle over an hour fishing before the rain ran us off. We caught 7 bass and 1 channel cat. Mr Wiskers had 1 that was close to a keeper. The rest were short. The cat was 3-4 lbs. My first time on the water with Mr Wiskers. I'm sure it won't be the last. Caught fish on Black/Blue jig & pig, green goby sweet beaver, bone color bandit.

Your 1 hour on the lake sure beats my all day painting. I was looking out the window at the boats going by and people fishing the cove, and was thinking I sure would like to be out there. It was just overcast here most of the day, and just looked awesome out there. Glad you all got some fish before the rain set in.

Thanks for the ride Madbomber. I had a good time. According to Fat Albert rules you caugth the big fish. Althougth it was a wiskered bass. I look forward to hitting the spots again in the near future.

I was eating at the Boathouse tonight. I watched somebody running upriver through the DRIVING rain... I felt bad for 'em. Hope it wasn't you. If it was, I on the Boathouse deck enjoying ice cold oysters on the half-shell and adult beverages. Glad I got my fishing in early today, even if it wasn't all that great. emoBigsmile
