Works like a charm! Used Gammy 4/0 Finesse Wide Gaps on 1oz Mann-O-Lure and 3/4 Hopkins. Fished the lower end of Loudon this AM. Had 2 good LM and several stripes on the spoon. All were securely hooked and NONE lost. Bites are kind of hard to come by up here right now and I hate lose one before I get to see what it is. Thanks for posting that!

No problem. I wish I had done the same thing to my big spoons as I lost a spot near 3lbs today. The larger spoons ususally have trebles that hold but not today.

Pal, all those fish were hooked THROUGH their head. NO way they were getting off. The 4/0 looks like it will be too big for the 1/2 oz (and below) spoons. Will probably go to a 3/0 or 2/0 on those. Have a good one!!

I use a 1/0 on my 3/8 oz spoons. That was the one in the pic.
