21-22 June 2014 Lake Guntersville – Spent two great days with exceptional families this past weekend on Guntersville. While everyone had lots of fun and caught plenty of fish! Understand we are starting the “Dog Days” of summer and you need to slow down your presentations. We caught fish in the lily pads and scattered Milfoil with hollow body frogs off and on during the day. As well as flipping the milfoil in area where it is topping out. We used ¾ ounce STC Tungsten and super bug D-Bombs from Missile baits. On Saturday, we also put some in the boat using a ½ ounce shaky head with a Magnum Trick Worm on the main channel ledges and secondary ledges. Water temperatures range from 81-85 degrees on the main lake/channel. It’s time to get your dates reserved for the early season frog and flipping/punching action.
