Jmiller of all the times to ask this forum for help on the G...THIS IS NOT THE TIME! There is a tournament that many of us will be fishing up there on the 23rd and several of us have been fishing to try and set the pattern, plan and information is just not flowing freely right now.emoSorry Jmax

Hes right Jmiller...there is a TX coming up in 2 weeks. Seems a few tricks are far and between right now anyways. Tie on a rattle trap, Jig and Spinnerbait. I cant tell you where the fish are but those 3 seem to be decent baits according to my Bassmaster Partner...flip1up. He'll be getting all the fish in 2 weeks and I'll play net boy

since me and ole catch1 want be fishing mud creek. Get your map out and look for the original creek channel lots of stumps on it. Dobbins holler full of stumps as is Fackler. If you run up in these places be real careful especially if you decide to run any further up in the creek. Creek aint easy to follow. Hog pen can hold fish also. Behind Cheese Hill in them dithes can be good. Heck Mud creek is full of fish.

Don't listen to Jmax, he's the only keeping secrets :)

I'd recommend Owen's Branch or the western bank if the water is getting into the 55 degree range. Throw 1/4 oz rat l traps, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, or lizards anywhere you can find stumps. Key: find stumps.
I'll be there on the 16th and 18th, I'm the ugly guy in the blue stratos with CFF tags.. :)

I don't know about that....I think Bprice is just trying to throw the rest of us off. I bet the only truth in that post above is the ugly guy part.emoPoke Jmax

Thanks for the advice, I will try to post daily catches-I hope. I will be there until the 19th and will post results when I get home for sure.

I dont think that BBass and me are ready to write Mud into our T day strategy just yet. We will know by the end of the day Thursday before though.

to the CFF jmiller. First time on Gville, huh. If Mud Creek turns on it can be excellent. I have not heard or seen that yet. But it could happen any day. Watch where you run in there, it is very shallow and stumpy if your not in the Creek channel. Good luck to you.

I will say this to you Mud goons. We launched with another pair that was in Mud that morning and later bumped into them again. They told us that they did catch a limit in Mud that morning and had five nice ones up to 3.25 lbs.emoSmile That was the only five they caught in there but it was a limit and they were in a tournament this coming weekend. They had no reason to fib to us and I think they were being honest. The Mud is about to take off and by T time it may be hot!emoWorthy Jmax
