A short fishing trip this morning. Bass are really hitting "cranks" well now. Both lipless and squarebill in red or crawdad colors. In the area where I've been fishing another guy had a good report on another site from there yesterday. Today there is a very long gill net there that I got my crankbait hung in. It's in shallow water so a prop would get entangled just as easy. Pardon the dark pic but a bass from today caught on a crawdad squarebill and one a couple of days ago on a red trap. Both in very shallow water. A crappie thrown in from today also since I haven't seen many crappie pics lately.

Show off! Lolol....don't you love this weather!

It's been "slim-pickens" for awhile. I need to hold up a few fish ! Yes... weather is great but we had to quit fishing around noon. We ran into Dickey and the CSS students and they were catching a few nice crappie.

It was good running into you and Debbie the other day. The girls had a blast catching those nice crappie back in there. See you on the water.
