Muskrat, Chickamauga, bass / crappie, 02/23/18, Deb / solo

[Muskrat]

A little bass fishing for awhile this afternoon after crappie fishing with Deb earlier in the day. She had to pick up the grandkids. The water temperature is up to 62 degrees in spots and the water itself is "very" low. I saw stumps I've never seen before. The lake was jam-packed with boats. I can't imagine what it will be like tomorrow. A pic of a bass that I caught on a squarebill "crank" that's been hot lately and it was caught on the same main lake bank where I've been catching others this past week. Crappie bite was a little off earlier in the day with the water drop but managed a few decent ones. All species of fish were shallow.

Good report, that is an ugly pattern on that sq. bill. Shows what I know, I would never have bought that color, lol. emoScratch Jeff, can you put a muskrat flag on your boat, every pontoon I see I wonder if it is you.

Hey Norman...Deb picked out that color. It's called Albino Craw and BPS discontinued the color and it's only available on Red Eye Shad now. I've even caught a 15.5 inch crappie on it. We're seldom out in the pontoon this time of year. I'll usually be in a Dyna-Trak boat with a gray Mariner engine and gray seats. The hull is white and has a nasty scum line from sitting in the water. When it gets hotter we're in the pontoon more often. A Sylvan with a green bimini top and a BoatUS flag. Both boats have CFF stickers.
