I've had the good fortune of being able to fish Monday thru Wednesday so far this week. Debbie joined me for half a day Monday and Tuesday. We've been catching both crappie and bass using Crappie Dawg jigs on 1/32 oz. Road Runner jig heads. Water temperatures have been from 51 on Monday to close to 59 degrees this afternoon in the lake. The bay bite near the bridge has really picked up but stumps in very shallow water has been the ticket for us. We haven't been counting the crappie but we've caught close to fifty bass including four smallmouth - all on Crappie Dawg jigs. It's been crazy - crazy good. The majority of the bass are very small but a few decent 2-3 pounders mixed in the bunch. All we were after were crappie and still can't believe how many bass we've caught on jigs. We've had "tons of fun" and we love our Crappie Dawgs ! A selfie of a couple of crappie I caught today on a very windy Wednesday afternoon.

I've also been using a dab of Mega Strike on our jigs this week. I doubt if it makes much of a difference right now though.
