After exhaustive research reading reviews and consulting with reliable sources, It came down to 3 or 4 brands but I went with the Exide Megatron MCX 31 AGM (glass mat). Its a group 31 beast with 925 CCA, 1,110 MCA, and a 'RC' (Reserve capacity) of 200 reserve minutes. It carries a 2 year full replacement warranty. I bought it at Academy for $229. Everyone's battery needs are different and if you've ever been late for a weigh-in because of a low battery, you will understand. My power demands in my tx boat are huge. Sometimes I run 4 locators and 4 pumps full time and after 4,5,6 hours, I need that Optimax to fire reliably at the end of the day. Yes, there are several great batteries out there but with a proven track record and low price for a huge AGM, I believe this is the best bang for my buck.

I have that battery as well. Keep your eyes open. Sometimes academy has them on sale for $189. I bought mine last year about the end of January on sale. It been great so far. I also have the regular exude batteries on my TM.
