Good afternoon everyone,

I hope this is the proper place to post this! So I bought my very first bass boat yesterday! She ain't pretty, big or fancy, but she is mine!

She's a 1980 Eldocraft 1520 Pro (15' Aluminum), has a 35HP Evinrude 2 Stroke, a 35lbs MotorGuide trolling motor, a HUMMINBIRD Piranhamax 160 depth finder, and a Garmin Striker Plus 5CV fish finder/GPS.

That is absolutely everything I wanted on a boat! I will be adding a few things later this year (Compass, VHF radio, Bluetooth AM/FM Marine Radio, Onboard LED Ligths, updated throttle).

Look at this guy who came from France 9 years ago with a luggage of clothes and 3000$ and now I can fish one of the best spots in the world for Bass fishing on my very own BOAT!

So anyways, I just wanted to share my joy and excitement! Now I need to find a good place to get a hitch attached to my car.

See you guys on the water and Long Live America!

Why don't you install your own hitch. In my younger days, when I lacked the funds, I installed my own. It ain't rocket science, you know. It's gratifying to see a Frenchman who loves the U. S. more than approximately 48% of the jerks who were born here.

If you buy the receiver, I'll help you put it on for free. As for your car, I hope you meant that explorer and not a regular car.

Aries 181 I’ve been looking for your number! I’m the French guy that you took on the water last year! Could you pm me your phone number?

This is just awesome - congrats! My first sled was a 17' tin boat. Learned the ropes and a few hard lessons along the way. You made a wise choice. Bon Chance!

Congrats on your first boat! looks to be nice and clean! Nothing like having your own boat to explore the lake.. fishing opportunities galore!

Congrats! Nice looking boat.
I remember my first boat, Alumacraft john boat with a 9.8hp mecury. Could run trotlines or bass fish. Still miss it.

Thanks guy! Very touching to have so many of you giving good wishes! So I need to get past the small amount of anxiety of launching this boat by myself for the first time :D
