We finally found a boat that my wife and I could agree on... Last weekend we picked up a lightly used 1998 Fisher F18 SF. It has a Mercury 150 Carb running a 14.75x 23 Tempest Prop. The motor only shows 230hrs on it, which seems pretty low from what I have seen out there.
We were very excited to find this, and after several hours of deep cleaning, shampooing, and waxing, she is ready!
Right now, it has an Eagle 350 s/map GPS fish finder. I hope to upgrade it in the near future, especially since it is mounted in front of the windshield, but doesn't swivel emoBang
Any advice on this motor is much appreciated. I have to get the water pres gauge working. I will also probably try out some different props if given the chance.
Tonight I had it topped out at 57 mph turning 5600 Rpm.
If you see us out, come say Hi.
