Wow !! Looks really good. I'd say that you won't lose too many if their "double hooked", my only concern would be that if you plan catch and release there would be more damage and more mortality to the bass.

Its is a good looking lure Scott. Have you only managed makig 1 of them or a few. I'd like to try it out and see how it does. </p>
 
Strike King I believe made some jigs like that years ago but they only stayed around for a short while. Go figure?
 
Bassmaster just had an article on this type of jig. It seems like I saw that Snag-Proof put a patent on it. They said it came through trash like a champ. The hooks kept it from rolling over on the snag.;)
 
Yeah, Snag-Proof is supposed to have them on the market very soon. They call them bass grabbers. Another point they make is that one hook will always be up when the lure is leaning. I want some, but I heard they were around $8 to $8.50. Kinda steep for a jig. That looks good RJS, let us know how it turns out.
