Today was boy's day out at our house. We started below the dam so the boys could climb on the rocks while dad tried for some stripers. After a couple of hours with no real action (except several trips up and down the rocks to the restroom!), we called it quits and decided to go to my sister's pond to see if anything was biting there, and boy were they! My 3 year old wore himself out catching bream, and got one laremouth and one catfish to boot. Then it was big boys turn. He catches 5 or 6 bream himself and was having a ball and then wham!. Line goes tight and rod bends over and we have a big splash followed by more hard pulls and a couple more airborne manuvers. Finally got it in and lipped it , weighed it , took some picks and let it go. It went a hair over 4 pounds and my six year old was hooked! Caught some more bream and as the sun went down the cats got more active and we ended up with a few more of those before we called it quits. All fish were caught on night crawlers. I don't know who had more fun, them or me, but it was a perfect boy's day out. C-HORSE

Congratulations are definitely in order for your day of fishing, but I think the top picture of you and the two boys with the fish is absolutely priceless. I think that is one of the best fishing pictures I have ever seen! I'm more proud of that for you than the fish. Make sure it gets framed and out for everyone to see. Hope you have many more memorable/perfect days with your guys.

Congrats crazyhorse! Thats what it is all about! Best times you will ever spend with them and the memories will last a life time! I agree with Sunshine, Frame that pic for all to see and they can always look back on it as a fun day out!emoThumbsup
